The White Mountain Hearth Ceramic Fiber Charred Oak Super Size Log Set is made for your fireplace. Since it is super-sized, it stacks a bit higher than the standard log set. Each log is hand painted to closely resemble actual logs you might find in a wood burning fireplace. These logs provide a realistic look to the fire and complement the burner pattern to create a lifelike fire and flickering flames. Unlike a wood fire the vent-free logs generate consistent, controlled heat without flare-ups or die-downs. The vent free Slope Glaze Burner sits low in the firebox in the front and rises slightly to the rear for an more realistic log stack. It is a manual control burner with a 3 position knob. A Vent-Free Burner may be installed in a vented fireplace for use as a decorative appliance. A decorative appliance operates with an on/off switch or remote, and may not operate with a thermostat.
